Grabfast H2O is a high performance water based spray adhesive that can be used to bond a wide spectrum of materials which include Vinyl, Wood, Plastics, Rubber, PVC, Carpet, Metals etc. The added benefits of Grabfast H2O is that unlike most spray adhesives on the market only one surface needs to be sprayed prior to bonding and as with all the Grabfast range, once they have been bonded they can be instantly handled. Grabfast H20 is also fully portable, so it is ideally suited to either on-site or in-house applications. Using Grabfast H2O addresses many environmental issues too.
The adhesive is supplied in eco-friendly refillable canisters, it has absolutely zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and is completely free of any ozone depleting substances (CFCs). As this is a water based adhesive, (please refer to the Material Safety below) many concerns raised by health and safety advisors regarding solvent based products do not apply to Grabfast H2O.

APPLICATION
All materials to be bonded should be conditioned at room temperature prior to fabrication. Surfaces should be dry, clean, grease and dust free. Hold the spray gun parallel to the surface and apply the adhesive, coverage of 90-100% must be achieved. Remember that only one surface needs to be sprayed so sufficient adhesive should be applied. The spray gun is controllable by opening the wheel located behind the trigger.
The second substrate can be bonded to the sprayed surface once the adhesive has gone off. This takes approximately 15-20 minutes. As Grabfast H2O is water based the temperature that the adhesive is applied in will affect the drying time. Once the adhesive has tacked up i.e. there is no transference to the finger when you touch it, the two substrates can be brought together. As Grabfast H2O is pressure sensitive a roller should be used to increase the bond strength (Linear pressure of 70lb per inch is recommended).
When you are finished using Grabfast H2O please remove the brass spray tip at the end of the gun and rinse it under warm water. If the canister is going to stand for any length of time then we recommend that you detach the gun and hose from it and using a GUNWASH, available from ourselves, flush them through so it is ready for immediate use in the future.
It is important to test all the substrates to be bonded prior to fabrication as it is the user’s responsibility to determine the adhesives suitability. If you are unsure please do not hesitate to contact our technical department who will be more than happy to assist you.
